Backgorund Info

What has happened:
In Hong Kong, since 1997, bus companies have been fitting public buses with TV broadcasting systems, blasting out loud broadcast non-stop. As a result, bus riders, kids, even babies are forced to watch and to listen to such broadcast during their bus rides.

Our Objective:
is to end the harms to children bus riders caused by the broadcast of TV on public buses in Hong Kong. To achieve this objective, we have initiated the following activities:
- conducting surveys on buses and reporting the findings in this web site
- exposing the flaw in logic behind the bus companies' insistence on the continued broadcast of bus TV
- informing the community and all relevant parties of our findings
- advocating safe and fair public transportation facilities in Hong Kong
